The Montmeló circuit installs sail shades to protect spectators from the sun during sporting and social events

A set of geo-sail shades have been installed at the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit in Montmeló to protect spectators from the sun and heat while they enjoy events. They made their début during the Formula 1 race, one of the most popular events. The Montmeló circuit has been in operation for 22 years and hosts the Formula 1, Moto GP and Spanish Superbike championships, among others.

In addition to the Geo-Sail Shades, 30 picnic tables were installed in one week for the catering area of the circuit.
